Shapiro & Kirsch, LLP
MBI was selected by the firm to provide consulting and product-based services. MBI's design and sales staff assessed Shapiro & Kirsch needs. They were then able to recommend an office layout that saves space, is attractive and motivating. MBI's recommendations were implemented throughout the new facility, from the floor to the ceiling - and everything in between. "They helped us choose the trim work, colors, cubicles, chairs, flooring, paintings and even the lettering in the front office," said Lipford. Although the property management firm had an architect, MBI was very much involved in providing Shapiro & Kirsch with suggestions that enabled them to stretch their imagination and increase their efficiency and style.
According to Lipford, employees find it easier to work. "At first, there were concerns about implementing slightly smaller cubicles. Employees were concerned about a potential loss of privacty. Instead, they found that it opens up the common areas while maintaining privacty in individuals' working spaces." Not only have the dynamics of the office improved, but employee morale has increased as well. Lipford remarks, "Everyone loves the break room and the newly-created training room."
Shapiro and Kirsch relocated thier office on a Saturday, with the help of MBI. "The move was seamless, we experienced no down time," said Lipford. "MBI was on-site to make sure everything was done in a timely manner. The installers were pleasant and easy to work with. They pulled a lot of the loose ends together for us. I'm really glad for their local presence because it was a win-win for all involved. Overall, it was such a positive experience that when we have to move or expand again, I will definitely be calling on MBI."
